Multibuild to reduce costs and project schedules through its value engineering skills on new GBP6.8 million design and build contract from Manchester Airport Developments .
In keeping with the Land Rover ethos of Design for Purpose the new premises contain a variety of different facilities and have been completed to the very highest standards.
"The new building is a modern double-fronted design that reflects the styling of the vehicles it houses," comments Multibuild's Mike Partington.
"We had to create something that reflected the quality of those vehicles but which also was practical and functional as it is very much a working building." Boasting separate showrooms for new and used vehicles, a purpose-built off-road track that displays them to their full potential and extensive workshop facilities, the new Guy Salmon premises also include a customer waiting area which features an open fire place and both indoor and outdoor children's play areas.
Although increasingly recognised as a leader in construction and fit-out projects for the hotel and leisure sectors, this contract demonstrates the variety of different projects that Multibuild undertakes for clients in many different sectors.
