Multibuild Creates New Lakeland Housewares Store
Leading construction and interiors specialist Multibuild is creating a new £1.75 million Lakeland Limited store in Cheshire.
The renovation project included the creation of a large feature void linking the basement and ground floors, the installation of new walls, bulkheads, kitchens, lighting and air conditioning.
Multibuild handled all aspects of the project including final interior decoration which was carried out to a high standard in keeping with the prestigious nature of the new restaurant.
Despite the addition of extra works which had not originally been planned - such as a complete rewire of the two-storey premises - Multibuild was still able to complete the project within the given schedule.
"With a project such as this the client obviously needs to have the premises open for business as quickly as possible and so we have to adhere to the schedule at all times," says Multibuild Operations Manager Ged Nolan.
"A very tight schedule and a strict deadline like those on this project impose extra demands on the contractor and that is when our wealth of experience in this type of project really starts to pay benefits.".
