Multibuild completes a new GBP2M Safestore storage depot in Glasgow, demonstrating their ability to undertake both construction and fit-out phases, to deliver a fully finished project to its clients.

The first part of the contract was completed on a design and build basis and saw the construction of a 2-storey, steel-frame building which will be used to provide a range of self-storage facilities for both domestic and commercial customers "The honest, open approach which we adopt and the high standards to which we work certainly helped us to win both phases of this project," says Charles McAlister, Commercial Director at Multibuild

"The original instruction only covered the design and construction of the building shell.

However, the client really appreciated our performance and the end result we achieved.

Given this, and our wide experience of interior fit-out work, we were delighted to be awarded the fit-out contract as well, which included the interiors of the warehousing, office and reception facilities".

"This was the first job we have done for Safestore and we're very pleased with the way it progressed," adds Multibuild Operations Director, Ged Nolan: "It's always extremely satisfying to deliver a completed project, particularly for a major new client such as Safestore, and we are looking forward to developing our relationships with their team in the future".
