Multibuild chosen for GBP4.9m transformation

Multibuild named as preferred choice contractor on a project for Premier Inn hotel and Table Table pub restaurant on behalf of client OVL Bankfield LLP.

Situated in Birmingham city centre, both eight-storey buildings are to be completely stripped out, refurbished and linked together by cutting through the existing party wall on each floor to form a single structure.

An interior fit out will transform the resulting shell into a Premier Inn hotel and pub restaurant Table Table.

The project is due to commence early June, with completion scheduled for March 2010.

A spokesperson for Premier Inn said: 'We are delighted to once again be working with Multibuild to add another Premier Inn to Birmingham; investing and bringing jobs to the city.

Premier Inn is the largest hotel brand in the UK, and we provide our guests with a great night's sleep at a cost that appeals to them.
