A suite of innovative plastic plate axial fans, unlike any other on the market at present in the UK, is now available from National Ventilation Featuring incredibly strong and corrosion resistant glass-reinforced polyamide mounting plates, the fans are lightweight, easy to install and quiet running

The Monsoon brand fans are offered in light and heavy duty ratings.

The light duty models utilise an epoxy coated aluminium impellor and will be supplied in sizes ranging from 200 to 350mm offering air extraction from 500 to 1825m3/hr.

Heavy duty types are supplied with a motor support and protection guard and 40 models in the range, sized at 300 to 620mm, deliver extraction to free air of between 2400 and 15000m3/hr.

Class F insulation and IP 42 protection are standard.

Installation is easier and quicker than conventional metal plate mounted types because the plastic mounting plate fans are on average 25% lighter and therefore less effort is required to handle them.

Another benefit of the polyamide mounting plate is that operating noise is reduced.

Noise levels for a heavy duty 300mm fan are rated at 51dBA and 77dBA for the largest most powerful 620mm model designed for heavy industrial use.

Applications are expected across all industrial and commercial sectors and especially in coastal regions where the non-corrosive plastic mounting plates will extend service life.
