National Federation of Roofing Contractors urge consumers to look for TrustMark.
The TrustMark scheme was launched on 30th January 2006 to help consumers find reliable and trustworthy tradespeople to make improvements and repairs to their home The NFRC, one of ten approved Scheme Operators for TrustMark will play a key role promoting the scheme and helping consumers find a roofer they can trust

The TrustMark campaign was deemed a huge success by Ian Livsey, chairman of TrustMark, "We are delighted with the extensive media coverage achieved for the scheme".
"The interest received to date demonstrates that there is clearly an appetite for TrustMark from industry and consumers".
"But this is where it begins".
"We will sustain our efforts to ensure that TrustMark is the single logo to look out for, whatever work you need doing in the home or garden." The first official reviews reveal that:.
* more than 16,000 people accessed the TrustMark website within its first week.
* the launch appeared in more than 250 separate pieces of broadcast and print coverage.
* Over 5,000 firms have registered for TrustMark.
There are high hopes for TrustMark, which has support from the Government, building industry and consumer groups.
It is hoped that 25,000 firms will be registered by April 2007.
Promotion of the scheme will continue through 2006 with publicity campaigns linked to consumer exhibitions including the National Homebuilding and Renovating Show and Ideal Home Show, as well as further PR campaigns targeting national and regional media, and press activities in conjunction with consumer advice groups and local community networks in order to spread awareness of the TrustMark logo at grass-roots level.
As the largest UK roofing federation, representing over 50% of the roofing industry, the NFRC is committed to promoting and maintaining a high standard of practice among its members.
The TrustMark logo will be a sign of reliability and quality to members of the public and specifiers.
Ray Horwood, NFRC Chief Executive commented that, "TrustMark will give the general public confidence that a TrustMark NFRC member will complete any roofing work to a high standard".
