Aintree joins the race for NFRC Roofing
Awards
For the third year running, leading building envelope specialists Lakesmere has reached the final of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors Excellence in Roofing Awards.
The company has been shortlisted in the Roof Sheeting category for its work on the striking grandstand development at Aintree Racecourse, which is the first project in the UK to feature the innovative Kalzip XT system Lakesmere will face strong competition from five other finalists but is hoping to repeat the success enjoyed at last year's event when the company won the Roof Sheeting award for the prestigious Liverpool South Parkway Interchange project
The NFRC has also presented Lakesmere with a Gold Award in the 2007 'Safety in Roofing' Awards Scheme that is aimed at promoting health and safety amongst NFRC member companies.
The winners of the 2008 NFRC Awards will be announced at a special ceremony to be held in Cardiff on the 16th May.
