Prospectus
The National Construction College, Europe's largest construction training provider, has launched its prospectus for 2008.
The new prospectus comprises more than 160 pages of information, covering the full range of apprenticeships and flexible adult training courses offered at the college's five sites across the UK The 2008 prospectus features several new sections, including a section on the College's innovative range of sustainability courses, which have been designed to inform construction managers and operatives about issues such as waste, water and energy management, conformance to legislation and how compliance can benefit a business

NCC and JCB to create specialist training
The National Construction College (NCC) joins forces with leading plant manufacturer, JCB, to create specialist training.
It also includes the College's Site Safety Plus programme, which ranges from a one-day Health and Safety Awareness course to a five-day Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
In a first for the construction industry the College is now also offering a Plant Management Safety Training Scheme, which has been designed specifically to improve health and safety within the plant sector.
The prospectus also contains all inclusive pricing information and details how companies registered for a CITB-ConstructionSkills levy can apply for grants.
As the direct training division of ConstructionSkills the College offers outstanding training to both young apprentices and adult students for a wide range of specialist courses, which are delivered by experienced instructors at first class training facilities.
The College's five sites across the country provide training for more than 30,000 people per year.
