Just over 3,500 key airport industry decision makers from 74 countries, visited London's ExCeL for the 15th Passenger Terminal Expo.

Passenger Terminal EXPO is the biggest international airport terminal exhibition and conference in Europe, and easily provides a unique environment for the international airport and airline industries to debate all the business critical issues.

As ever, the event staged an outstanding conference programme which featured 200 industry leading speakers from around the world.

And with over 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest industry technologies, visitors and delegates alike were able to get the latest information on the latest innovations for the passenger terminal industry, from baggage handling and security to passenger check-in seating solutions, architectural design and passenger comfort and convenience.

"We are delighted that the show was once again a resounding success", said Andrzej Smith, Sales and Marketing Director for the show.

"We knew we had all the ingredients for an outstanding event that all the attendees would derive huge value from, and their fantastic comments speak for themselves".

Mandy Williams, MD of seating specialists Zoeftig, said of the event: "We are really pleased that this year's Passenger Terminal EXPO has proved to be one of the busiest shows ever, and in particular the afternoons have seen our stand jumping with customers and new prospects".

"And, above all, we have had real quality decision makers on the stand".

Similarly, Johannes Thomas, Project Manager at Vitra International, said: "Despite the challenging economic climate, we were pleasantly surprised to still meet so many people with direct needs and projects moving forward".

"It was also encouraging to get so much positive feedback on the outstanding performance of our products in use from existing clients around the world, as customers used the opportunity to come and see us to catch up and give us updates on their progress".

"The show worked for us delivering new leads and as has also provided a very positive networking opportunity".

Ted Nugent, Business Development Manager Transportation at Cisco commented: "We were delighted that the event more than met our main objective to deliver our company message across both Europe and emerging markets - we achieved fantastic results in both areas".

"Passenger Terminal EXPO allowed us the opportunity to engage with end users from airports but also more diverse industries such as rail and prisons, looking for solutions across our portfolio, from telephony, physical security to networks".

"The show really worked for us, fulfilled our expectations and more, and we want to be back next year".

Passenger Terminal Expo 2010 will be taking place in Brussels (Brussels Expo) on the 23rd 24th and 25th March.
