Neaco's Spectrum stainless steel balustrade is adding a splash of style to The Deep, Hull's £53 million Millennium Commission Lottery Project Spectrum was installed with a glazed glass infill for a queuing screen within the reception area as part of a £6.8 million extension by architects, birdjohnson associates

Neaco worked in conjunction with birdjohnson to develop a cost effective, aesthetically attractive design that could handle the performance demands of such a high traffic area.

"We've used Spectrum many times previously so we knew that the product was tried and tested with a high quality finish guaranteed," said William Bird of birdjohnson.

"It's a pre-fabricated modular system that is easy to install, minimizing disruption on site".

"Neaco's technical team was very knowledgeable in helping us to produce a design that could provide the high structural performance required".

Suitable for both internal and external installation, Spectrum's modular system has the versatility to meet virtually any design requirement.

Available in stainless steel or nylon coated aluminium in a variety of solid or metallic colours, Spectrum's components are installed using an internal connection system that requires no welding for assembly.

A wide choice of infills is available and Neaco also provides bespoke components when required.
