Priority for NES - tackling the skills shortages
Tackling the well publicised and growing shortage of suitably qualified technical, engineering, rail and IT personnel within the UK must still be a priority for the recruitment industry.
As MD of NES International he has been responsible for taking the company to record turnover levels of over £75m in 2005 through the delivery of higher margin business, accurate client qualification and introducing a discipline specialism throughout all the UK offices.
For 11 years Mark has developed his career through NES International, from recruitment consultant to recruitment manager, office manager, associate director and director before his most recent appointment as managing director.
Speaking from the Manchester-based Head Office, Mark comments: "Obviously I am thrilled to have been invited to join the NESCO Group Board".
"Their leading agency status, recent BS7799 accreditation and continued success in what is reported as a difficult period for the IT recruitment sector - means it is an exciting time for the company".
The NES Group has seen turnover increase from GBP48m in 1995 to GBP150m in 2005 - and currently has 6 nationwide UK offices and 8 overseas operations.
Specialising in technical and engineering recruitment, other companies within the Group provide further support for rail and IT recruitment industries.
