Tackling the well publicised and growing shortage of suitably qualified technical, engineering, rail and IT personnel within the UK must still be a priority for the recruitment industry.

The new brand name reflects the truly global scope of operations, with 12 worldwide offices and affiliate partnerships in over 40 further countries.
NES Track, the rail division within the NES Group will not be changed; while the IT business will be renamed from NESco to NES IT.
Similarly the specialist training arm of the Group - which focuses on project and programme management, will be rebranded as NES AIM Academy.
Says Matthew Cody, marketing director at NES: "As the company has continued to experience significant and sustained growth on a global scale, it has become apparent that greater clarity and clearer brand positioning was required for each of the NES companies".
"In order to drive through these changes, a new web site infrastructure is scheduled for launch early in 2008, coinciding with an integrated marketing communication campaign".
"NES celebrates its 30th birthday this year and these exciting brand changes are going to be instrumental in setting the path for the next stage in the company's development and growth," Matthew concludes.
