The free seminars, sponsored by Newlec Electrical, are designed to deliver business beneficial education, information and training

Adding value and an enhanced service to its customers is a number one priority for Newey and Eyre, one of the UK's leading electrical distributors With this in mind the company is developing a series of business support seminars for its contractor customers

The free seminars, sponsored by Newlec Electrical, are designed to deliver business beneficial education, information and training and are part of the Company's strategy of providing additional tangible benefits to demonstrate how Newey and Eyre goes that extra mile to add value to its customers' businesses.

The first seminar took place in Nottingham recently at the interesting location of Trent Bridge cricket ground and a variety of topics were covered including the impact of Part P legislation, employment law issues and helpful advice on better cash and finance management for contractors.

Topics were determined following customer feedback earlier in the year to establish what they would find most useful.

Key industry speakers were brought in to deliver the seminars including representatives from the NICEIC, NatWest Bank and Greymatters Solutions.

Jeremy Harris, marketing manager for Newey and Eyre said: "Our first seminar had a fantastic response with over 70 delegates registering".

"We carried out a survey following the event to obtain feedback that will help us to plan for future events next year and the response to our first seminar was extremely favourable with customers stating that they found the support invaluable, would definitely be interested in attending more seminars and appreciated the chance to network with branch staff, industry representatives and their peers".

"We aim to take the seminars across the UK into 2006 to offer ongoing advice to valued customers in every area of their business".
