Hagemeyer UK Management Team strengthened

Hagemeyer UK, the parent company of some of the UK's leading electrical distributors including Newey and Eyre and WF Electrical, appoint new Chief Information Officer.

Hagemeyer UK, the parent company of some of the UK's leading electrical distributors including Newey and Eyre and WF Electrical, is fast gathering a formidable senior management team with the appointment of a new Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Following the recent appointments of John Hogan (ex-DHL) as Chief Executive Officer and Anthony McDaniel (ex-Matalan) as HR Director, the company has also appointed Paul Parker into the CIO role.

Paul Parker is an experienced senior board member having spent over 20 years with RS Components, supporting their global development.

Most recently, Paul developed the multiple award winning E-commerce channel and previous roles held at RS Components include the position of IS Director.

John Hogan, CEO of Hagemeyer, explained: "We are delighted to be able to bring on board an experienced Chief Information Officer with a successful track record".

"Paul has the benefit of having operated in both commercial and Information Systems roles".

"Customer service is key in any business," adds Parker, "but even more so in such competitive markets".

Married with three children, Paul is an avid Blackburn Rovers fan and in his spare time enjoys playing golf.
