NHBC is once again running its successful Ground Gases training course, specifically designed to offer a practical approach to evaluating the risks associated with hazardous ground gases

This one-day course aims to give builders and developers an understanding of the issues as well as how to comply with Building Regulations and planning requirements Rob Lockey, NHBC's Training Services Manager, said: "Re-developing brownfield sites can provide great opportunities for housebuilders especially with the increasing difficulties in sourcing suitable land"

"However, it is important to be aware of current good practice in assessing the risks involved." The course is run in conjunction with RSK Group plc, one of the world's leading providers of health, safety and environmental services.

All trainers are experienced professionals involved in the assessment of sites affected by hazardous ground gases.

Places are available for delegates to attend the course at the following locations on the following dates:.

Bristol - January 30, 2008.

Dartford - January 30, 2008.
