NHBC Building for Tomorrow seminars to focus on theme of sustainability

NHBC's flagship Building for Tomorrow (Bft) seminars will this year focus on the theme of sustainability , with backing from Communities and Local Government (CLG) and in partnership with the National Centre for Excellence in Housing Seminars led by a range of influential keynote speakers, along with workshops and interactive sessions, will cover a range of topical issues, including:

* The Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) one year on, where we are and what needs to happen next.

* Energy usage in a workshop session suggesting solutions to CSH requirements.

* Which products are available to help meet the zero carbon challenge and their likely cost.

* Building standards such as Lifetime Homes and Building for Life which are requirements for Social Housing funding.

This year NHBC's Bft events will be held at the following locations on the following dates:.

Birmingham, Motorcycle Museum - February 19.

Donington, Hilton Hotel, East Midlands - February 20.
