NHBC Code for Sustainable Home course
To assist housebuilders NHBC is running four one-day courses to provide practical guidance and advice on the updated Code requirements for 2008.
The Government has announced that from 1 May this year a Code for Sustainable Homes rating will be required for all new build homes in England and will be required for Public sector housing in Northern Ireland from April It is essential that house builders know the regulations before these deadlines

Mixed-use developments are increasingly becoming centrepieces of the UK's inner cities.
NHBC is running four one-day courses in April to provide practical guidance and advice on the updated Code requirements for 2008.
NHBC's Training Manager, Rob Lockey, said: "It is essential that housebuilders are up to speed on the changes and requirements of the Code including changes like the new environmental categories and the minimum standards being set beyond the requirements of Building Regulations".
"NHBC's one-day 'Code for Sustainable Homes' course covers all aspects of the Code and will prepare house builders for these changes".
Highly experienced NHBC staff will offer expert advice and guidance for the course.
Places are available for delegates to attend the course at the following dates at the following locations:.
Reading - 17 April.
Birmingham - 22 April.
Leeds/Bradford - 23 April.
Belfast - 29 April.
