Grants available for UK Companies to attend this year's No-Dig Conference and Exhibition being held in Brisbane, Australia.

This year, the International Society for Trenchless Technology's Annual No-Dig Conference and Exhibition is being held in Brisbane, Queensland from 29 October to 2 November The hosts are The Australasian Society for Trenchless Technology (ASTT), a founder member of the ISTT in 1991

From the outset, the ASTT has been an active player and leader in the development of trenchless technology in the worldwide community and now Menno Henneveld, the current chairman of ISTT, is the first to hold this post from the Southern Hemisphere.

NO-DIG Down under 2006 will start on Sunday 29 October with an opening breakfast and exhibition preview.

Monday through Thursday are the Conference and Exhibition days.

There will be a Conference Dinner on Tuesday 31 October and site visits on Wednesday 1 November.

A special workshop combined with the Australasian Tunnelling Society 'Underground Planning of a Liveable City' takes place on Thursday 2 November.

British companies interested in taking part are advised to take note of Government grants which are available through the UK Trade and Investment 'Solo' scheme, or alternatively from local UKTandI Business Links.
