Lee Griggs, a product specialist with ART VPS, has been named one of six Maya Masters for 2004.
In the first instance the company will run their Construction Professionals division from the office.
The division works with construction companies all over the UK to secure placements, both temporary and freelance, for professional candidates such as Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Contract Managers and Engineers.
"This move into the South is a big step for us as a business and is something that we have been planning to do for some time now," says Simon Winfield Managing Director of the Construction Professionals Division.
"We had a few cities in mind to begin with, but for us Southampton was the front-runner from the start.
There is so much regeneration, residential and new build projects in the city and surrounding areas that we knew this would be the perfect Southern base to service both existing and new clients." This will be the first office for NOW Recruitment in the South.
The company, with its HQ in Birmingham, also has offices in Bristol, Nottingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Australia.
The division is headed up by Managing Director Simon Winfield and run day-to-day by experienced local recruiter, Graeme Mitchell.
Graeme brings to the company six years of recruitment experience, local industry knowledge and proven sales skills.
