Swift Fire And Security Selects Vista SmartTel
Swift, the nationwide fire and security specialist, has selected Vista SmartTel as the key transmission platform for its new Video Receiving Centre (VRC), based at Salford, Greater Manchester.
It does this by combining a 1/4" CCD 480 TVL colour covert camera, with a passive infra red sensor and user-defined motion detection capabilities.
The unit can be powered either by 12V DC regulated PSU or by a 12V DC battery pack (not supplied), making it suitable for both permanent, temporary, or emergency CCTV solutions.
The Vista SmartPIR has evolved from the standard PIR Covert camera by enabling the user to record alarmed images that are saved in JPEG format onto an internal, removable, 32Mb or 64Mb flash memory card.
