Vista, the UK's premier brand of CCTV equipment, announces that their popular 15" and 17" TFT flat screen monitors are now available in black.

The two new black screens are the 15" VFSM15/DBe and the 17" VFSM17/DB Specially built for CCTV applications, they combine the space saving advantages of Thin Film Transistor (TFT) technology with the aesthetic and modern appeal of a black casing

Flat screens are particularly well suited to space limited environments because their footprint is only one quarter of a conventional screen.

The Vista VFSM range can be used to sit on a desk with the stand supplied or wall mounted.

The attractive black casing makes these monitors ideal for applications where the screen is on public display, including: * Retail Premises.

* Petrol Stations.

* Business Premises.

* Industrial Premises.

* Museums.

* Shopping Centres.

* Pubs and Clubs.

The 15" VFSM15/DBe has a resolution of 1024 x 768 and up to 262,000 colours.

It benefits from 2 composite video inputs, 1 S-VHS input, and 1 PC input (RGB), selectable from the front panel controls.

With a high speed TFT display and wide viewing angle the Vista VFSM15/DW is suitable for a wide range of corporate and blue chip applications.

The 17" version, the VFSM17/DB, has an even higher specification.

The display boasts a resolution of 1280 x 1024 and high brightness of 300cd/m2.

In addition to having all the same inputs of the 15" unit, it also supports PIP (Picture in Picture).

Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director of Vista, explained "as with all our product ranges, we are intent on giving our customers the widest choice of monitors for their systems.

These new black flat screens will meet a need where the aesthetic quality of the screen has to be of the same high quality as its performance".
