Vista eclipse wins Innovation Award
Vista, the UK's premier brand of electronic security equipment, has won the 'Best New CCTV Product' award for Vista eclipse, its groundbreaking 360 degree camera.
Andrew Pigram, Vista Brand Director, was delighted to receive the award: "For the second time in six months, the Vista eclipse has won a major industry award, a rare feat in an industry where new products are launched almost daily".
"This award confirms our belief that the Vista eclipse is the most exciting development in security camera technology for many years".
Based on the innovative yet proven IMTERA processor, the Vista eclips is ideal wherever full situational awareness is essential to a successful surveillance operation.
Particularly suitable environments include sensitive locations such as cash rooms, retail outlets, interview rooms, safe rooms, pubs, public areas and other locations where a permanent unrestricted field of view is essential.
The advantages of Vista eclipse extend well beyond panoramic vision, believes Andrew Pigram.
"Because of the way the unit is designed and operates, installation and maintenance savings can be made by employing the Vista eclipse's multiple 'virtual cameras' to replace several conventional fixed and high speed dome cameras".
"So Vista eclipse should be considered an alternative to some traditional multi-camera installs as well as being an addition to the 360 degree camera market".
The latest version to be launched before the calendar year end includes an integral digital video recorder which includes full 3 mega pixel image recording.
Replayed images can then be de-warped, zoomed, pan/tilted just like live, making it an even more compelling proposition as a standalone installation.
Exclusive to Vista, the Vista eclipse is only available through Norbain, Video Imaging Supplies and Network Video Centre.
