Vista PowerDome Lite proves itself in testing
Vista has now published the results of the HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) standards carried out on the PowerDome Lite, a high speed colour dome camera.
Vista, the UK's premier brand of CCTV equipment, has now published the results of the HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) standards carried out on the PowerDome Lite, a high speed colour dome camera, designed as the ideal, cost effective solution for the smaller retail market.
The aim of the testing was to confirm the excellent quality of the dome and reassure customers that, despite their cost effective positioning in the market, they have been built to the same exacting standards as the rest of the Vista range.
Originally, the test was set up to prove that the domes, both with cover and with cover removed, would be fully operational in temperatures from -10 degree C to +40 degree C.
Having successfully passed this test, Vista decided to increase the range progressively to reach between -60 degree C and +90 degree C.
"We can now show engineers scientific proof of the reliability of the PowerDome Lite range," says Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director of Vista.
"The testing proved to be a great success and we intend to carry out and publish similar tests on further main-line products in the future.".
