Jun 2 2006 Reading, UK Vista, the UK's premier brand of CCTV equipment, have expanded their range of power supplies to include two new lines including metal cased and IP66 rated units.

All have been specifically designed to improve ease of installation, increase the life of cameras and keep them working at peak performance.

The metal-boxed units offer between 4 and 8 individually fused 1 Amp 24VAC outputs, minimising disruption and downtime should an individual fuse blow.

The specially designed raised and removable terminal blocks improve accessibility to the connections, resulting in faster installation times.

The IP66 3Amp 24VAC unit is the ideal partner to external domes and cameras where the impact resistant polycarbonate case makes it idea for harsh environmental conditions.

Features such as separate low voltage and mains cable terminals allow for isolation, assisting in quick and safe installation and maintenance.

"It's import for us to ensure the longevity of all our equipment and retain our standing as producing the most innovative and reliable CCTV equipment on the market," says Andrew Pigram, Vista brand director.

"Continued development in areas such as power supplies, enables our customers to deliver smarter and lower cost installations".

Suitable markets for this new range of power supplies include retail, car parks, office buildings and warehouses.
