Swift Fire And Security Selects Vista SmartTel
Swift, the nationwide fire and security specialist, has selected Vista SmartTel as the key transmission platform for its new Video Receiving Centre (VRC), based at Salford, Greater Manchester.
This provides the added benefit of being able to download video clips to the local PC.
The Network Viewer software is provided free of charge with the eclipse DVR.
The Vista eclipse DVR records the entire 360 degree 3 megapixel sensor image so, when played back via a Vista eclipse-R, the recording contains all the information from the original scene.
This makes it possible to ePTZ (electronic pan/tilt zoom) as if viewing images live, all while the Vista eclipse continues recording, ensuring no detail is ever missed.
By using retrospective ePTZ the whole recording can be examined in detail ensuring that critical information is not overlooked.
A particular event can be reviewed time and time again using different views and screen formats to make certain that the event has been witnessed in its entirety.
If required, the event can then be recorded on any conventional CCTV recording device to the analogue output.
"By visiting one of the LIVE events, you'll be able to take a look at this unique piece of kit in a relaxed setting, and really get to know what its capabilities are," says divisional director for Vista, Mark Pritchard.
"The addition of the network viewer increases its capabilities even further, opening up more functionality and incorporating the advantages IP brings with it.".
