Vista is introducing a free workshop for installers to fully explain the benefits of integrated lighting with its ProtosIV range of cameras.

Vista is introducing a free workshop for installers to fully explain the benefits of integrated lighting with its ProtosIV range of cameras Appropriate lighting for cameras is essential for high quality, usable images to be recorded over the full 24 hour period

Many Day/Night camera systems "hunt" between colour and black and white operation at dusk, finding it difficult to settle on either mode until it gets fully dark.

To combat this, Vista have released a unique integrated package that forces the camera into black and white mode and automatically turns the associated white or IR lighting on.

Additional advantages of the system include:.

* Full operator adjustment for threshold of switching level.

* High performance and even spread of light for clear, well-illuminated images.

* White light is colour corrected to ensure true colour rendition.

* Eco-friendly system with low running cost, efficient operation and long life.

"We've received feedback from a varied range of customers asking for advice on the most effective way to light scenes," says Mark Pritchard, divisional director of Vista.

"In response to this, we've developed this free workshop to teach installers the benefits of integrated lighting and how to achieve the best results." As well as looking at the advantages of such a system, the course will focus on how to best set up the cameras, allowing installers to learn how to set up their own systems and get the most out of their footage.

Courses will be held on the following dates at a number of locations:.

12th December - Poulton-Le-Fylde, Lancashire (SEE Norbain Office).

12th, 14th and 18th December - Heywood, Lancashire (NVC Office).

14th December - Warrington, Cheshire (CCD Norbain Office).

18th December - Reading, Berkshire (Norbain Head Office).

Each session will last around an hour at 10am, 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm.

Food and drinks will be provided.
