A Norbain SD product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 25, 2008

Vista will be showing a wide range of products on the Norbain stand at IFSEC and demonstrating their newest IP offerings: VIP-KIT, VIP-STREAM and Graphica2 IP.

VIP-KIT is a plug 'n' play entry level solution that provides a neat, packaged solution for smaller businesses.

Simple to use, it contains all the key features that customers in this category require, for a maximum of 16 cameras.

The viewing/management software is based on a PC recording system and comes free with Vista's new VIP-KIT products.

Available in the kit will be a range of popular cameras that are all easy to configure.

Vista has also developed the VIP-STREAM suite of products to answer the needs of top-end installations where a greater functionality is required.

As with the VIP-KIT, it will be available with a range of popular cameras including PowerDome2, ProtosV, VFD static domes and vandal resistant and impact resistant domes.

Graphica2 IP is a user friendly, graphical based management system with an open architecture allowing the user to plug-in a range of Vista equipment, including DVRs, all the products available in the VIP-KIT and the VIP-STREAM range, and many leading 3rd party manufacturers' DVRs and IP equipment.

It allows video streams to be recorded to a local PC or to network storage as well as allowing multi-screen video walls anywhere on the network.

It can support up to 16 users and has no limit on the number of cameras linked to the system.

"The new IP offerings from Vista have been developed to remove the mystery often associated with IP," says Mark Pritchard, divisional director for Vista.

"By offering these specially designed packages we can provide users with exactly what they need, no matter the simplicity or complexity of the installation".

Other products on show will include the new PowerDome Lite, MiniD DVR packages, vandal resistant domes and the much anticipated ProtosV.

Further details will be released over the coming weeks.
