A Natural Building Technologies (NBT), which specialises in natural and ecologically sound building products has introduced a practical, easy to use gloss paint that's both ecologically sound and environmentally sustainable.

It is available in white, black, antique cream, blue, red and green.

The paint is made from an unusual sounding, but very practical mixture of soya beans and crushed rocks.

It offers excellent coverage, is easy and pleasant to use, has superb flexibility and is ideal for both internal and external applications on either wood or metal.

The formulation is based on an historic recipe and the original recipe is believed to date back several hundred years.

Being mixed from natural ingredients, the paint is ecologically sound, has a low embodied energy, is completely biodegradable and creates virtually zero pollution.

It is washable and can be applied with a brush, gloss roller or spray gun.

NBT's gloss paint is available in 0.75 litre, 2.5 litre and 10 litre sizes and covers around 10 - 12 square metres per litre.
