Ecologically Sound Emulsion Paints Launched

A Natural Building Technologies product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team May 25, 2004

Natural Building Technologies (NBT), which specialises in traditional decorating and building products, has produced a colourful new range of ecologically sound emulsion paints.

They enhance their surroundings with a hardwearing, lustrous finish and cover well.

The range is split into two halves, Super Brilliant White and Super Low Titanium, both of which can be individually coloured simply by stirring in Natural Tinters from the NBT collection.

Super Brilliant offers subtle hues and Super Low Titanium produces more vibrant colours.

Three pre-mixed shades, Pebble, Straw and Vanilla are also available.

Unlike conventional paints, NBT Emulsion paint is ultra-low in pollution, non-toxic, non-allergenic, produces no harmful or persistent VOCs and has a minimum of embodied energy.

It contains no petrochemical solvents but still offers a wide colour range - from the bright and vibrant, through to the soft and pastel.

The Natural Tinters can be mixed together, or added in different quantities, to produce a huge tonal range of standard or unique colours, shades and hues.

NBT's products are available through a national network of outlets, and are supported by technical data sheets and special-effect sheets.

These are available either from NBT direct or via their web site.
