NBT Launches New Coloured Earth
With a range of ecologically sound self-coloured clay plasters NBT has introduced two separate ranges of self-coloured, high performance, clay-based top-coat plasters.
NBT's Sheepswool insulation is supplied as batts, which are ideal for use in a wide variety of roof, wall and floor constructions where they offer considerably greater environmental, technical and performance benefits than conventional insulation materials.
They are non-itchy, non-dusty, non-toxic, damp resistant and de-toxify air as they can absorb large quantities of the formaldehyde that is commonly found in buildings.
Thermal conductivity (K) is 0.038 W/mK and the bats are provided in 50, 75 and 100mm thickness up to 600 x 1200mm in size.
When used in a properly designed system it can easily meet or surpass current building regulation requirements.
The batts are made from UK produced wool that has been bound using polyester fibres for reinforcement.
It is treated with an inert, naturally occurring mineral that provides pest, fungal and enhanced fire resistance.
