Natural Building Technologies (NBT) has introduced a slimline new wall system, based on a Timber Frame construction with Brick Cladding, which is ecologically sound and has achieved LANTAC approval.

The wall offers significant advantages over normal masonary and timber frame systems.

The new system - "NW2" uses Pavatherm woodfibre boards and easily exceeds the requirements of the latest Part L Building Regulation.

U-Value of between 0.33 W/m2K and 0.18 W/m2K are achievable depending on the design option chosen.

The system is fully vapour permeable and eliminates the need for vapour barries or membraines, without the risk of interstitial condensation or rot occuring.

Thermal and acoustic performance of this lightweight construction matches or exceedes that of heavyweight buildings.

NW2 offers a simple and robust structure that is quick and easy to build.

The materials are non-toxic, non-irritant and easy to handle - with zero emissions when installed.

LANTAC approval provides significant time and cost benefits for clients commissioning new projects and speeds up the approval process.

The involvement of local authority building control is a guarantee of the systems performance.
