Scandinavian Paint is ideal for protecting exterior timber.

Not only is it ecologically 'Green' but it now comes in red, green, blue and brown as well.

All of the four colours offer the same high level of protection and give you the chance to really splash out and paint the town red (or at least those parts of it that are made from timber!).

As well as being environmentally sound it is biodegradable upon disposal and is produced from sustainable ingredients.

The paint is especially suitable for the preservation of sawn timber such as fencing and weatherboards and on buildings such as barns and stables.

NBT formulated the paint based on historic recipes, but uses modern paint technology and environmental science to make it easy to use and to give the high-performance characteristics required from a contemporary paint.

The new Scandinavian paint is water-based and made from linseed oil and mineral pigments.

It is light fast, water-resistant, weatherproof and longlasting.

It can be applied with a roller or a brush and, if required, a second coat can be used for extra protection on untreated timber.

It can even be used to create a decorative 'wash' effect by diluting it with up to 30% water.

It is supplied in 5 or 10 litre containers.

Coverage is around 6 square metres per litre or 10 when diluted.
