'Puddle Sucker' Pumps Water Down To 1mm

The 'Puddle Sucker' Pump offers the ability to pump water levels down to 1mm and also has a number of important improvements.

Water Down To 1mm Specialist submersible pump distributor and UK agents for Tsurumi of Japan, Obart, are now able to offer the LSC1.4S.

This new model is the updated version of the popular LSC4 'puddle sucker', which has been used widely since 1986 in hire fleets, by utility companies and by flood control contractors.

This new pump continues to offer the ability to pump water levels down to 1mm but offers a number of important improvements.

The LSC1.4S has a pressed steel outer casing for improved durability and a cast aluminium pump stand for offer-increased protection of the steel and rubber base plate.

It also has a rubber pump chamber and a urethane vortex impeller for increased wear resistance.

Additionally, it incorporates a dual position outlet port to enable it to pump horizontally, as well as vertically, and avoid kinks in hoses.

Many of these features are currently found on the Tsurumi LB480 50mm (2in) single-phase drainage pump, also supplied by Obart.

The new model is fitted with a 25mm(1in) outlet, but 50mm(2in) is available as an optional extra.

It is capable of a flow rate of up to 170 litres per minute and a head capability of 11 metres.
