Specialist pump distributor, Obart Pumps, has now added Pedrollo submersibles to its catalogue.

Pedrollo submersibles have a worldwide reputation for their high level technology in both manufacture and application to the extent that Maidstone based specialist pump distributor, Obart Pumps, has now added a broad range to its catalogue.

As a company we are constantly reviewing our product portfolio to ensure we are offering the best available to our customers and our increasing confidence in Pedrollo led us to believe this was the right time to introduce a number of carefully selected products into our catalogue.' In particular the RX models are sure to generate interest.

Manufactured in corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel these pumps are designed for clean and dirty water pumping in domestic, trade or industrial applications.

They will handle suspended soft solids up to 10mm in diameter - for larger solids up to 40mm versions incorporating a vortex impellor can also be offered.

The top discharge design makes the RX ideally suited for partial immersion applications and where space or access is restricted - top discharge eliminates the likelihood of air locks, often experienced with side discharge pumps when being used in these situations.

A 416 stainless shaft is fitted with a mechanical seal for greater reliability and longer life, along with an intermediate oil chamber and inner lip seal providing wear resistance and protection in the event of dry running.

Maximum liquid temperature is 50 degrees C though limited use up to 90 degrees C is possible for short periods.

A choice of manual or automatic versions in 110 and 230 volts and manual versions in 400 volts enable the RX range to provide cost effective pumping solutions with excellent service and consistent operation in challenging environments.

Head heights up to 23 metres can be accommodated with flows from 140l/m to 450l/m.
