Tracpipe Used At Bailey Prefabrication Factory

NG Bailey and Co was one of the first contractors to use TracPipe and has since used TracPipe on a number of contracts nationwide.

Indeed they are so convinced of the benefits of using TracPipe that they have now installed TracPipe at the NG Bailey Prefabrication Factory and Offices at Bradford.

TracPipe was installed to 3 warm air heaters servicing different areas of the factory unit.

Originally 21/2" steel welded pipework was specified however NG Bailey welcomed the innovative introduction of TracPipe and decided to run 1 1/2" and 2" gas lines to the heaters.

Material costs proved to be significantly higher, however the labour savings more than compensated for this.

Indeed a spokesman for NG Bailey and Co commented: - " The whole installation of both gas lines working at high level was completed in less than 2 days compared to 2 weeks with the more traditional materials.

Added to the health and safety issues associated with traditional materials we would have had to shut down certain areas of production.

We also must not forget to mention the reduced hiring of lifting equipment, threading machines and/or welders, all of which add a significant cost to these types of contracts.

With this taken into account TracPipe minimised the disruption of the function of the building".
