TracPipe, the stainless steel semi-rigid gas piping to BS7838, has now been added to the ACS Assessment criteria This has resulted in a huge demand for information and a requirement for the training of trainers at Training Colleges and Assessment Centres, throughout the UK

TracPipe stainless steel gas pipe is fast becoming the recognised alternative to traditional rigid copper or steel, installed between meter and appliance.

BSI Kitemarked to BS7838, it is suitable for natural gas, propane or butane at working pressures to 75mbar.

Training Packs, which include Design and Installation Specifications and TracPipe brochures, together with a useful CD, are being distributed by OmegaFlex Ltd to colleges and assessment centres and TracPipe staff are working round the clock to meet the requirement to train trainers.

TracPipe's Kitemark Licence was issued in 1999, followed by approval by BG Technology (now Advantica) in 2000 and TracPipe became available in the UK and Eire from late 2000.
