Oktopus UK launching new cranes at Vertikal Days

Oktopus UK, distributors of Klaas cranes and Oktopus suction lifting machines, announce the arrival of two new cranes which will be exhibited at Vertikal Days for the first time.

Oktopus K-800 'Tiny Tower'.

The Oktopus K-800 compact tower crane, with telescopic boom, has a rigging footprint of only 2.6m x 2.6m and a 19m mast height.

Coupled a 5m telescopic boom with 360 degree slew, the K-800 is unbeatable on restricted working areas.

The k-800 is delivered on site in its integral trailer and is ready to work in minutes.

Capable of lifting up to 800kg via its remote control, the K-800 is the ultimate restricted area crane.

Klass TC30 Trailer Crane.

To celebrate 75 years of crane production Klass are launching the newTC30 trailer crane.

With a working radius of 24 metres coupled with a job height of 30 metres, and a maximum SWL capacity of 1.3te, the TC30 is perfectly suited to restricted access areas because of its ability to extend each outrigger individually, to any required length, to achieve an acceptable working position.

By use of its Hetronic remote control and fully hydraulic outriggers the crane operator has the full flexibility to rig the crane as required without any manual handling issues such as handling jib sections or rigging jibs.

This trailer crane can also be used as an access platform by way of its man riding workstation or suspended man baskets.

Not reliant on an HGV based chassis, but towed by a suitable vehicle, the Klaas trailer crane has a low carbon footprint.

Combining with the cranes - Oktopus suction lifting machines.

Both the Oktopus K800 and the TC30 Trailer Crane will partner with two of the latest dual control suction lifting machines from the Oktopus UK catalogue: the Oktopus GL-K 600 glazing machine and the Oktopus KT-B roofing and cladding attachment.
