Leading external refurbishment and roofing contractor, Maguire Brothers, successfully completed re-roofing 14 roofs at Dorking Hospital The roofs, which comprised 1000 sq m in total, were re-roofed using Onduline Building Products' Ondutile System under concrete interlocking tiles
The system, which was easy to fix, provided excellent performance at a reasonable price.
Maguire Brothers chose to use the Ondutile System to provide secondary waterproofing because the pitch of the roof was very low.
The total contract, worth nearly half a million pounds, involved a mixture of disciplines including the re-pitching and retiling of the pitched roofs which were upgraded to warm roofs.
The hospital remained fully operational during the roofing work and Maguire Brothers installed temporary roofs to protect all roof areas.
