One Planet Products is working with partners within the construction and refurbishment industries to increase the supply and quality of sustainable building products and services.

We are a bulk buying initiative specifically focused on sustainable and environmental products and materials for the construction and refurbishment industry, primarily in the residential sector.

One Planet Products will be a member owned club, and will provide the members (Housing Associations, private developers and contractors) a mechanism through which they will be able to purchase environmental products, materials and services more cheaply and more easily.

We will provide our suppliers with an opportunity to access a broad group of customers whose combined purchasing power represent a significant percentage of the UK market.

Suppliers will join a select group of companies offering high quality and good value products to the One Planet Products members.

We will also provide a forum for knowledge sharing and information dissemination among members, suppliers and other industry bodies about existing and new environmental products and services.

OUR MEMBERS Our members are housing associations, private developers and contractors who are building or refurbishing residential developments in the UK.

Our members are concerned about incorporating sustainable products into their developments and may be particularly concerned about meeting EcoHomes standards.

Our members are interested in the savings they can make (in both time and money) from membership of the One Planet Products group.

OUR SUPPLIERS Our suppliers are businesses which manufacture and/or distribute products and materials which have demonstrable environmental benefits and are applicable for use in the residential construction and refurbishment industry.

Our suppliers recognise the bulk purchasing capability of the One Planet Products group and are prepared to offering club members a price and service commitment commensurate with this.

Our suppliers have either regional or national supply capability, and demonstrate a clear commitment to sustainability.

One Planet Products is led by sustainability specialists BioRegional Development Group.

BioRegional has been involved in sustainable development projects for over 10 years, including the UK's largest eco-village, BedZED.

One Planet Products is part of the One Planet Living initiative.

One Planet Living is a joint initiative by BioRegional and the WWF.
