Work Solutions has expanded its operations at Orbit Developments' Beckwith House in Stockport.

As the Government plans to invest GBP1.3bn into employment measures, including an initiative to fill half a million vacancies in the UK, Work Solutions has expanded its operations at Orbit Developments' Beckwith House in Stockport.

Work Solutions, one of the largest North West not-for-profit employment organisations, is expanding its operations in Stockport by increasing its office space at Beckwith House to 2,371 sq ft.

Zoe Kirk, regional office manager at Orbit Developments said: "We are delighted that Work Solutions has decided to take further space with us.

The deal at Beckwith House demonstrates the on-going success we are having in South Manchester and demand for high quality office space across our portfolio.

With over 250 staff working across Greater Manchester, Work Solutions has a turnover of over GBP13million and is a major provider of employment, recruitment and skill services to employers, local people and the Government.

Situated in the centre of Stockport, Beckwith House benefits from a contemporary new reception area with a range of high quality office suites in a variety of sizes.

Closely located to the motorway network and with great rail links from Stockport to London Euston, the building is ideally placed for businesses.

Grace Watson, service manager at Work Solutions said: "Our expansion at Beckwith House follows a period of a significant growth.

We help place up to 360 people every month into work from our network of centres across the region, which have grown over and above what we could have hoped for.

With the recent downturn in the economy and unemployment levels at the highest for a number of years, we are experiencing more and more people using our services to get back into work.

"We were previously located at Orbit Developments' Regent House in Stockport and have a long standing relationship with the company.

Its flexible property solutions have enabled us to expand within the building, reducing the cost of relocating and disruption to our services," added Grace.
