OTR Tyres launch OTR CushionTyre into the UK market - a tyre that will maximise machine running time because there is no tyre downtime.

The OTR CushionTyre is one of the most revolutionary tyres available in today's market and the first product to combine solid tyre durability with a pneumatic-like ride Manufactured with two rows of apertures built into the sidewall structure of the tyre, the OTR CushionTyre allows better shock absorption and reduces the overall solid weight of the tyre

Available in a range of sizes and tread patterns, and exclusive to OTR in the UK, the OTR CushionTyre is guaranteed to improve tyre running costs per hour.

Most suitable for high hazard environments, the anti-abrasion compound formula and deep tread design ensure that these tyres are resistant to cuts and punctures and although they will obviously wear, they can easily be retreaded to maximise tyre life.

CushionTyre also has the advantage of being suitable for use in quarries at the rockface - replacing the need for tyres and chains.

Graeme Manning, OTR's UK Commercial Director commented "OTR have exclusivity for the sales and distribution of CushionTyre in the UK.

Figures have shown a minimum 30% benefit in cost and wear rate in comparison to other brands".

"In addition to the obvious repair and wear benefits, the user is reducing scrap disposal costs by extending the life of the original tyre" OTR continue to develop their products and services for the earthmover, waste and bulk handling markets - a commitment which offers customers 'much more than just tyres'.
