Setting the tone in acoustic linings

An Outside-In product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 18, 2006

New to the range of acoustic boarding from Outside-In is the Tonewood range for wall and ceiling applications.

Tonewood is designed for use in both modern and traditional buildings and can be specified in many types of hardwood from European Oak through to beech, walnut and even high density fibre-board.

Outside-In's acoustic boarding ranges are the only solid timber products available in the market place.

Meeting with all current Building Regulations, Tonewood acoustic lining combines optimum sound absorption performance with an attractive finish.

Resistant to knocks, moisture, ultra-violet light and biological attack, Tonewood is a highly durable product for long life and requires minimal maintenance.

Tonewood can be machined with a concealed side slotting to permit sound to pass through the lining to sound absorbing insulation, fitted between battens.

Easy to install, it is available cut to length or in random lengths.

Fire retardant treatments are available.
