Weatherite freshens up Police station

A Weatherite Building Services product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team May 14, 2009

Weatherite Building Services has installed a new air conditioning system at West Midlands Police station in Birmingham.

The new system was installed to provide a cooler and fresher working environment within the computer rooms at the station.

As with previous installations Weatherite has carried out for West Midlands Police, Daikin wall mounted cooling systems were selected because as well as being compact, lightweight and easy to clean, they also distribute cool air evenly throughout a room.

"Previously, the computer rooms were very stuffy and uncomfortable for people to work in" says Mike Turton, sales director, Weatherite Building Services.

In contrast, the new air conditioning system means the room can now be kept at an ideal temperature that suits everybody who uses it.

Due to the 24/7 operational nature of the computer room, Weatherite's engineers had to install the system with the minimum of disruption to West Midlands Police, and this was achieved to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
