Pathfinder's new Haytor Lodge is a prime example of how the leading park home Company is bringing the green revolution to the park home industry.

With hemp wool insulation, energy saving boilers, energy saving appliances, foil backed plasterboard, thermo controls on all taps and Argon Gas filled double glazed units, Pathfinder's new Haytor Lodge is a prime example of how the leading park home Company is bringing the green revolution to the park home industry The new Haytor, which was officially launched at the recent Retirement and Leisure Lifestyle Shows, is the first home to include Pathfinder's new eco-friendly package, developed by the Company to demonstrate its commitment to conserving the environment

"At Pathfinder we are continually working hard to put policies in place which will benefit the environment and we work closely with our staff, suppliers and parks to make sure that our homes are as green as possible".

"This year we have launched a new range of eco-friendly choices, which will in the long-term help to reduce the running costs of our homes".

"The Haytor is the first home we have built which includes this package and we hope to encourage more parks and home owners to take environmental considerations on board," explains Mike Wills, Managing Director at Pathfinder Park Homes.

The new Haytor is an impressive home, which is built with sustainably sourced timber.

Natural light pours into the living area from the full length windows and two sets of French doors, and a sliding glass door allows the light to flood into the separate kitchen.

The lodge has a contemporary kitchen, including an island unit, floor to ceiling larder cupboards, integrated fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a high level double oven.

Large windows are fitted in the two double bedrooms, which have luxurious finishes such as a dressing room and a fully tiled en-suite with wet room.

The stylish family bathroom with sunken bath completes the exciting features.

Mike continues: "This year we have launched an environmental policy at Pathfinder, which will be signed by all members of our team".

"We recycle all cardboard and plastic packaging, encourage our staff to recycle waste paper, cardboard, cans and bottles and are researching how we can switch to renewable energy sources".

"We believe that by making small changes to the way we live and work we can make a big difference to our future and The Haytor is just the start!".
