Paxton Access, a market leader in the design and manufacture of electronic access control systems, has expanded its field sales team.

Paxton Access, a market leader in the design and manufacture of electronic access control systems, has expanded its field sales team with the appointment of Nick Swift as Field Sales Engineer for the North East "I am looking forward to meeting with the wide variety of security installation companies throughout the North East", says Nick Swift

"It is a vibrant region for one of the strongest sectors in the security industry".

Nick Swift's appointment comes at a buoyant time for the access control sector, with demand expected to increase by 12% in real terms between 2005 and 2010*.

With its new technologies such as long range, hands free access control and its increasing focus on larger installations, Paxton Access considers itself well placed to capitalise on this growth potential.

Nick Swift comes to Paxton Access from Initial Fire and Security where his career in security began as an Installation Engineer on Access Control, Intercoms, CCTV and Intruder Alarm Systems.

Three years ago Nick was appointed a Branch Sales Surveyor selling all aspects of security to end users, Electrical Contractors and Consultants.

Previous to his career in the security industry, Nick Swift served in the Royal Corps Of Signals as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer and saw service in the Gulf, Cyprus and Bosnia as well as in Germany and the UK.
