Passivent package controls internal environments
Passivent has developed a complete package to optimise internal environments by controlling ventilation, daylight and solar heat gain.
This system from Passivent enables specifiers to deliver value for money and best practice in lowering a building's carbon footprint.
Passivent offers a complete package of internal environment control for ventilation, daylight and solar heat gain
The package utilises natural resources to balance the harnessing of fresh air, natural daylight and the sun's heat, creating optimum ambient conditions within the building.
The company supplies natural and mixed mode ventilation systems for the commercial and public sectors in the UK.
The addition of a range of solar shading louvre systems and rooflights mean all key natural elements affecting a building's internal environment can now be controlled through a complete package from a single source.
Passivent's developments further simplify the specification process in that the overall performance and impact of systems which control daylight, sunshine and wind can be calculated, modelled, specified and supplied by one company.
Passivent's mixed mode ventilation intelligently interfaces natural ventilation and air conditioning, offering a reduction in energy consumption over traditional mechanical ventilation by over 40 per cent.
Each option individually contributes towards energy accreditations such as BREEAM.
Passivent is part of the Building Product Design Group, and a founder member of the NatVent EC-EU-funded project co-ordinated by the Building Research Establishment.
Passivent will be launching several new products at EcoBuild this year on Stand 1844.
