Protim Services changes name to ProTen Services

A ProTen Services product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jan 10, 2008

Protim Services, the leading timber and damp control specialists, has changed its name to ProTen Services.

The change of name to ProTen Services demonstrates that the Company's range of services, designed to protect the occupants as well as the buildings that they live in, now falls into ten distinct categories, whilst still maintaining a connection with the distinct Protim heritage and tradition.

The ten service categories are:.

* rising damp control.

* woodworm and rot treatment.

* cellar and basement waterproofing.

* timber resin repair systems.

* structural wall stabilisation and crack stitching.

* cavity wall tie replacement.

* anti-roosting bird control systems and fouling removal.

* radon testing and remediation.

* environmentally sustainable systems.

* air quality management.

David Marshall, Chairman, ProTen Services comments: "The Company's roots date back to 1928 and the change of name is the latest milestone in its evolution".

"We recognise that, whilst there is still a market for our traditional services, demand for innovative solutions to modern concerns regarding properties and the potential implications for their occupants' health in addition to the environment is increasing, and so we have expanded our range of services to ensure that we can satisfy these demands".

"Over the past 80 years, we have created strong partnerships, enabling us to offer an unbeatable level of protection to our clients and their properties".

"Our team of surveyors and operatives are professional, knowledgeable and bring a wealth of expertise in these niche fields".

"Our aim is to continue to be market leaders in our traditional fields with the change of name to ProTen Services giving us the means through which to match our success in new domains.".
