Peter Evans Flooring commissioned by Andrew Scott Limited to install the new floorcoverings within The Twenty Ten Clubhouse at the Celtic Manor Resort.

The Celtic Manor Resort set in 1400 acres of panoramic parkland in the beautiful Usk Valley is a world-class destination with exceptional golf, leisure and business facilities Very few European resorts have such a comprehensive range of facilities as The Celtic Manor Resort, venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup and home of The Celtic Manor Wales Open

As part of its early preparations for the 2010 Ryder Cup, The Celtic Manor Resort has opened The Twenty Ten Clubhouse, one of the most luxurious clubhouses in Europe, which has been beautifully designed to include high ceilings, wooden beams, open fires and comfortable sofas.

It offers Rafters Restaurant, with its floor-to-ceiling cedar beams and modern European dining; a Members Lounge with leather chesterfields, high-backed chairs and a warming open hearth; and expansive, oak-panelled Locker Rooms.

Peter Evans Flooring of Barry, Vale of Glamorgan were delighted to be commissioned by the main developers, Andrew Scott Limited of Port Talbot to install the new floorcoverings within The Twenty Ten Clubhouse.

By working in partnership with their clients, Peter Evans Flooring are able to offer a comprehensive flooring solution for any environment, and their expertise within the industry has seen them develop into one of the UK's leading flooring contractors.

Peter Evans Flooring commenced this prestigious project by fitting a special spike proof carpet within the Locker Rooms, Pro Shop and Spike Bar.

This specialist, high performance carpet is soft to walk on, yet its composition ensures that it is coarse enough to clean shoes and resist showing walk patterns.

In addition to withstanding the traffic of golf spike shoes, the carpet is resistant to fading and dries rapidly.

For the Members Lounge, Function Room, Dining Room and Concourse, a luxury, high performance carpet was fitted which complemented the sophisticated interior design that is synonymous throughout The Celtic Manor Resort.

To conclude, Peter Evans Flooring installed safety flooring for all of the 'back of house' areas.

Naturally it was vital that a non-slip, hard wearing and easily cleaned floor was fitted within these demanding locations.

"Peter Evans Flooring were a pleasure to work with as not only did they install ideal floor coverings within The Twenty Ten Clubhouse, but from the outset they remained committed to providing a professional, flexible and personal service".

"I would recommend them for any flooring installation", enthused Russell Phillips, Vice-President of Facilities and Development at The Celtic Manor Resort.
