Specialist flooring contractors, Peter Evans Flooring has installed a range of new floorcoverings at the Rhondda Sports Centre.
The project, on behalf of the main contractor and Peter Evans Flooring regular client, Carillion plc, involved various different areas, including the refurbishment of the main sports hall, where 1000m2 of Altro Mondosport HP W was installed A favourite in sports halls, this hardworking sports floor is suitable for multi-purpose facilities and has a natural timber appearance whilst enjoying the benefits of a seamless, hygienic surface

The bar, cellar and kitchen areas were all fitted with Altro Maxis Suprema, which is the first safety floor to receive an A rating under the BRE environmental profiling scheme.
Altro Maxis Suprema doesn't have the all-over sparkle common to other safety floors, but has been developed to offer a unique transparent finish that gives the impression of depth to the flooring surface, thereby enhancing the aesthetic effect.
For the reception, corridors and offices, Peter Evans Flooring installed Burmatex 4200 Sidewalk, which is an extremely durable fine ribbed fibre bonded carpet.
Made from a high performance mix of solution dyed fibres, it is available in a range of 24 vibrant colours and offers a durable, cost efficient floorcovering that is ideal for use in general circulation areas.
