Peter Evans Flooring overnight Mothercare project

When Mothercare, recently refurbished their Telford store, they once again commissioned the services of Peter Evans Flooring to provide and install 1200m2 of new floorcoverings.

Recognised worldwide as the number one company for parenting, with some 225 UK outlets, this latest store refurbishment forms part of Mothercare's extensive and on-going programme to revitalise their high street stores.

The project criteria not only dictated the need for highly durable, cost efficient floorcoverings that would be suitable for the retail environment, but also, it was stipulated that the store opening hours remained uninterrupted during the refurbishment.

Therefore, utilising their vast experience within the retail sector, Peter Evans Flooring provided a fast track, and totally reliable overnight installation programme that would enable the trading hours to remain unaffected.

For installation within the main areas of the store, Gerflor's high quality Creation Wood flooring was chosen as the ideal floorcovering, as it combines aesthetic appeal, with a tough-wearing, easy to clean surface.

Designed to withstand heavy duty, high traffic areas such as busy retail locations, Gerflor's Creation Wood flooring proved perfect for the job.

For the walkways, Peter Evans Flooring specified and installed Gerflor Limestone Tiling.

Manufactured as a long life cycle, synthetic, decorative tile, this popular floorcovering delivers an overall thickness of 2.5mm for comfort underfoot, and due to its polyurethane surface treatment (PUR), maintenance is very easy and the need for initial polishes is eliminated.
